The Climate Change Hoax

Climate Alarmism Is Falling Apart

Karl Michael Season 3 Episode 47

Are concert cancellations due to climate change legitimate, or are they convenient excuses? That's just one of the pressing questions we tackle head-on in our latest deep dive into climate skepticism.

The Steve Miller Band recently canceled their entire tour, citing "extreme heat, unpredictable flooding, tornadoes, hurricanes" – but without providing any scientific evidence connecting these events to climate change. We examine whether there might be other factors at play behind this decision and why climate has become the go-to justification for various business challenges.

We also follow up on the Climeworks story from Episode 24, revealing how this much-hyped carbon capture company is dramatically underperforming. Their flagship facility promised to remove 36,000 tons of CO2 annually but has captured just 805 tons – which drops to a mere 121 tons when accounting for emissions from their own operations. This confirms what many skeptics have long argued: direct air capture technology remains economically unviable and energy-intensive.

The benefits of atmospheric CO2 deserve more attention in climate discussions. At just 0.04% of our atmosphere, carbon dioxide is essential for plant life and has contributed to increasing global plant biomass and agricultural yields. Meanwhile, the BBC's excitement over a 1.5-million-year-old ice core discovery reveals the ongoing effort to find historical climate data that supports predetermined narratives. We predict how this research will likely be interpreted to reinforce existing climate change theories regardless of what it actually shows.

Join us as we continue exposing what we see as the climate change hoax – a movement that may be less about protecting the environment and more about control. Share this episode with friends who might be questioning the mainstream climate narrative and want to hear a different perspective.

Speaker 1:

If you're suspicious that this climate change stuff may be exaggerated or just total BS, you've come to the right place. Welcome to the Climate Change Hoax Podcast With your host, carl Michael. Here you'll learn the truth about the deceivers who want you to believe we can actually control the weather. We cannot. The real goal is to control you. This is the Climate Change Hoax.

Speaker 2:

They just won't go away. Well, neither will I. And here we are in the middle of 2025. The climate wackos are much calmer than any time during the Biden regime, but they're still out there making ridiculous accusations and predictions, like this press release from the recently canceled tour of the Steve Miller Band, and I quote you make music with your instincts. You live life by your instincts. Always trust your instincts. The Steve Miller Band has canceled all of our upcoming tour dates. The combination of extreme heat, unpredictable flooding, tornadoes, hurricanes and massive Uh-huh canceled, unquote Uh-huh.

Speaker 2:

Well, me thinks there may be other reasons other than being just stupid. Me also thinks the space cowboys had better lawyer up. Look, personally, I wouldn't walk across the street to see these bums, but they have managed to dupe a lot of children of the 70s into buying their music. And now they have real promoters with real fans. Really pissed, brilliant. My point If you're gonna blame climate change on anything, at least have some BS climate chart to point to while making a fool of yourself. Hey, remember that bunch up in Iceland with the big giant CO2 suckers? Well, I talked about these guys in episode 24. Here's what I said Episode 24. Here's what I said. Businesses and individuals can quote-unquote, buy protection and maybe some quasi-forgiveness from all the climate kooks. These woke companies like Microsoft, bcg, stripe, square, shopify and many other well-known corporations and businesses are on Climework's sucker list. Same thing for individuals, wackos that want to prove their loyalty to climate action, and with all the bragging rights.

Speaker 2:

Now these guys Climeworks. They claim they will suck CO2 right out of the air on your behalf, even provide a document showing how much CO2 you helped eliminate. Yes, yes, yes, folks, they even provide a receipt. They are actually a company. They have a website, climeworkscom, and I encourage you to check them out.

Speaker 2:

Turns out Climeworks is cutting staff Uh-huh, and here's why. One of their facilities launched in 2021, has an advertised capacity of removing 4,000 tons of CO2 per year. It's barely hitting 1,700. Their big manajama CO2 sucker 5,000, they call Manmuth touted a 36,000 ton capacity. Nope, so far only 805 tons, and if you factor in emissions from construction and their operations, that 805 tons is really only 121. They are, in fact, under-delivering.

Speaker 2:

It appears this direct air capture technology is energy-intensive and expensive. Capture technology is energy intensive and expensive. Concentrations of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is only around 0.04 percent Now. This fact makes extracting CO2 from the air much more complex than these guys realize. Possibly their slide rulers are bent, I don't know. Rulers are bent, I don't know. Regardless, it's just economically foolish and, as I have said before, the climate wackos ignore the fact that enriching the atmosphere with CO2 is beneficial.

Speaker 2:

Co2 is not a pollutant. It is essential to all life on Earth. Additional CO2 in the air has promoted growth in global plant biomass, and it's also good for agriculture, increasing the yields of crops worldwide. There is no statistical evidence that global warming, global cooling, climate change or whatever the wackos are calling it today, is intensifying hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, droughts, fires or making them more frequent. However, there is ample evidence that CO2 reduction is damaging and costly and, thanks to the Trump administration, the American taxpayer will not be supporting Climeworks or anybody else's stupid CO2 suckers. Folks, the only suckers here are the ones sending money to these bums.

Speaker 2:

Well, let's see what else is going on. Oh, the leftists over at the BBC are just giddy after reporting about an ice core that may be older than 1.5 million years. Scientists are going to melt it down, supposedly to unlock vital information about Earth's past climate. They're claiming thousands of years of new information that could revolutionize what we know about climate change, see where this is going. They could find and they will evidence of a period of time when CO2 concentrations may have been higher than they are now. And, of course, this could help us understand what our future holds as our planet responds to warming gases trapped in our atmosphere. These so-called scientists will be looking for previous history of high greenhouse gas levels. That's it. They are already anticipating today's accelerated levels will be linked to only the last 150 years of human activity.

Speaker 2:

Now let me make a prediction about their findings, right here, right now, considering all of these so-called scientists are card-carrying leftists. No matter what they discover, the data will suggest we, as humans, are causing global warming. We've gone down the ice core rabbit hole before, which didn't prove a damn thing, but the wackos are getting desperate and willing to spend millions again to keep the grift alive. But thanks to guys and gals like us in programs like this, it's all falling apart. The scam of all scams is finally being exposed as a hoax, and they know it. Cheers.
